Suggestion and Offering

Meaning

                    

The difference between suggestions and offers can be seen from the meaning, and this is the explanation. Suggestion means to give a suggestion that is to introduce or propose an idea or a plan for someone’s consideration. Suggesting are abstract and can be in form of solution, advice, plan, and idea. It can be accepted or not.

Above is the explanation about suggestions, and now is the offers turn. Offers means to give something pysical or abstract to someone, which can be taken as a gift or a trade. It can be given in terms of food, money, solutions, friendship, or a bargain. It can be taken or not, same with suggestions.

OFFER              : Modal verb + subject + object

Social function between suggestion and offers is exactly the same, that’s to facilitate interpersonal communication between different people which of course can make the relationship with others can be quite close and of course also will make more relationships with other people.

            There are 2 possibilities for reacting, yes or no, the only difference is the delivery of each
person, and there it is......

Accepting Suggestion :

·         That’s good idea. I will do it.

·         I’ll try. Thank you.

·         Sure, I can do it.

·         Yeah, you’re right.

·         Why didn’t I think of that?

·         That’s the best one, I’ll try that.

Refusing Suggestion :

F I can’t do that.

F I’m afraid I can’t.

F Could you give me another way?

F I think it can’t solve my problem.

F I don’t think I can.

Accepting Offer :

Refusing Offer :
